Porsche 996TT Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit TestedPosted by AP Dan in Company NewsTo be dyno tested shortly is the new Agency Power Intercooler Hose Kit. This kit features larger diameter silicone tubes which go from the intake pipe to the compressor side of the turbos. The factory plastic pipes are restrictive in some areas and rob needed air flow to gain power as you get up in the larger turbos. The silicone hoses connect to the turbo via an aluminum pipe which has the fitting needed for the factory sensor. On the top of the engine, the intake pipe is a twin tube design to efficiently flow cold air to the turbos. The intake tube features the factory ports to connect it like the OEM unit as well as a bracket to firmly secure it in place. The aluminum aluminum unit has a V Design to maximize air flow. We expect this modification to pick up around 20 horsepower. This prototype piece is in the production process and will be available for sale in 6 weeks.

Not only are these photos great, but the match of the color is perfect. This is a very clean setup on this Subaru STI. The 18×8.5 wheels sit very flush and give the car a nice aggressive stance. New Aluminum Radiators Released for the WRX, STI, EVO, 350ZPosted by AP Dan in Company NewsFor any vehicle, improved cooling is an issue that may be overlooked. When engine temperatures are high, the efficiency of your motor goes down. By providing better cooling capacity, you can maximize your engines performance. Increasing the radiator core dimensions and improving upon the flow design, Agency Power has developed these performance radiators kits. Whether your car is turbocharged or normally aspirated, an upgraded aluminum radiator will give you more performance on and off the track. The all aluminum radiator features a high pressure radiator cap, aluminum construction, and mounting tabs for a direct OEM replacement. The factory fans and radiator hoses will fit with no modification. This kit is very easy to install and should only take about 1 hour. The radiators are 25% bigger then the stock unit. In addition to having a larger cooling capacity, the aluminum radiators are much more durable then stock. The factory plastic end tanks can crack under extreme heat and pressure. Under racing conditions, your water temperatures can near boiling points. As tested under the intense Arizona heat conditions, the aluminum end tanks and larger core size help keep the temperature down by at least 15F degrees. In addition to the aluminum radiator, Agency Power recommends upgrading to our silicone radiator hose kit and putting a coolant additive in with your fluids to help keep temperatures down. Radiators include 1.1bar radiator cap with Agency Power logo. Agency Power Prototypes 2nd Air Snorkel for 996TT IntakePosted by AP Dan in Company NewsWell this has been a long time to do, but finally got a first prototype done on this car. To improve upon the Agency Power Porsche 996TT cold air intake, we developed a 2nd snorkel system to help push more air flow to the intake under driving conditions. The factory style box and intake pulls air from the right side of the decklid and then over to the filter. The intake would benefit by having more air flow as the car moves down the road to keep the air cooler. This 2nd snorkel prototype is designed to work with the AP Aluminum Intake box only. The plate and snorkel requires trimming of your factory fan shroud to fit. The piece will be finished in a flat black powdercoat and include foam trim and a rubber gasket for an air tight seal. We will soon have a production piece which will be available for sale. We are also in process of making one for our carbon box as well. Stay tuned for more news!

Prototype Silicone 996TT Intercooler Hose in the WorksPosted by AP Dan in Company NewsAgency Power is working on its new silicone intercooler hose kit for the Porsche 996TT. The silicone hoses connect a soon to be made intake pipe. The OEM piece is plastic and a smaller diameter which has major restrictions. This will increase air flow and help increase horsepower and throttle response. Stay tuned as we work on this new project.

EVO X Carbon Fiber Engine Cover SamplePosted by AP Dan in Company NewsThe Agency Power carbon fiber team has been working away and just finished this first article of the engine cover in carbon. This will be a direct replacement for the factory black and red unit using the factory mounting points. We hope to have production pieces available in the next 30-60 days. New Prototype Agency Power Audi Paddle Shifters TestedPosted by AP Dan in Company NewsAgency Power recently tested it’s new paddle shifters on a 2007 Audi A3. The Ferrari style paddle shifters are all CNC machined aluminum and are a COMPLETE replacement of the factory paddle. The shifter is approximately 5 inches long which is 50% larger then stock piece. The finished part will be done in a satin anodized black or high polished finished. These paddle shifters will fit all Audi and VW with DSG transmissions. We will be doing testing on different vehicles to confirm. Here are the initial pictures.

Porsche 996TT Carbon Fiber Cold Air IntakePosted by AP Dan in Company NewsAgency Power has just released their all new carbon fiber cold air intake kit for the Porsche 996 Turbo. Based off their other aluminum box, this carbon fiber unit adds a sense of style and quality to the engine bay of the Porsche. The intake utilizes the factory air snorkel to guide air in and across a colored silicone tube to the left box which houses a K&N air filter for maximum performance. As tested on a Mustang AWD Dyno, the cold air intake kit produced 32 wheel horsepower and 22 ft/lbs of torque in the mid RPMs. Check out all the info and pictures of the Agency Power Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Kit Here. New Race Turbo Kit for the EVO VIII IX ReleasedPosted by AP Dan in Company NewsAgency Power released their first EVO turbo kit back in 2004 for the original EVO VIII. This piece was put to the test on big tracks like Willow Springs and Buttonwillow in California, as well as many others here in Arizona. We upgraded the original design which used a T3/T4 turbo to Garrett GT turbos and now, Agency Power has completely redesigned the EVO VIII and IX turbo kit. The new GT turbo kit features a redesigned high flow header with a true merged collector. Using all 321 stainless steel and precision TIG welds, the header is designed to maximize your power and improve turbo spool up. Using thick CNC machined flanges, the kit will bolt up without any modifications to the factory radiator assembly. The kit uses either a GT35R or GT30R turbo and a Tial 38mm external wastegate. The kit includes the O2 housing which connects via a band clamp to the supplied high flow 3 inch downpipe. The external wastegate dump pipe bolts to the wastegate and is routed in a safe manner. To further improve the kit, Agency Power includes a lower intercooler pipe to fit with the factory or aftermarket intercoolers. This intercooler pipe is then finished in a textured black color. We also supply a new turbo suction pipe which features a blow off valve return port. This is also finished in a textured black color. If you are retaining your factory MAF sensor, we include our CNC machined aluminum MAF adapter and K&N high flow cone air filter. The kit then includes all necessary oil and water lines with fittings needed to connect to the factory locations. Finally, we supply Agency Power 5ply silicone couplers and all necessary clamps needed. As tested on a stock 4G63 motor, we have seen this turbo setup produce more then 550 horsepower and on a built 2.3L or 2.4L engine in excess of 700 horsepower. Corresponding components are necessary to maximize performance. These components would include: ECU Tuning, Larger Injectors, Exhaust, Intercooler, Cams, Spark Plugs, and other related performance items. Subaru Equal Length Header Released for WRX, STI, Forester, LegacyPosted by AP Dan in Company NewsAgency Power now has their all new equal length header available for the Subaru turbo cars including: WRX, STI, Forester XT, and Legacy GT. The header even fits the new 08 WRX and STI! The header is designed to efficiently improve exhaust gas flow improving your turbo spool up, horsepower, and torque.
