Audi Paddle Shifters Tested on B7 S4

One of Vivid Racing’s customers got a set of the Agency Power Paddle Shifters for his B7 Audi S4. The all CNC machined aluminum paddle shifters offer 50% more surface area to use under shifting. The black anodized offers an OEM look and the +/- signs are available in different colors for personalization.

Agency Power is Working on New BMW E92 M3 Parts

Agency Power in conjunction with Vivid Racing are working on some new performance products for the new E92 BMW M3. Earlier, we hand built the first prototype exhaust system. We have no received the first article for the car which fit and sounded great. The all polished stainless steel exhaust features twin mufflers and quad titanium tips. The exhaust will also have available center race pipes.

The next part we are working on is a cold air intake kit to work with the OEM intake box. This piece will include a carbon fiber elbow with a CNC machined aluminum connector to a large K&N cone filter. The carbon fiber piece will have a CNC machined flange for the OEM breather hose. This replaces the stock corregated unit with a smoother internal piece for improved air flow and throttle response.

The last part we prototyped was a underdrive pulley set for the E92 M3. However this kit only works on the early production models to August 2008. After that, there was a significant change in the belt design and crank pulley. This part may or may not be released.

Better Shifting for Audi DSG Cars by Agency Power

With every modification you do to your vehicle, you want to make sure it is improving the driveability and aesthetically looks good on your car. We noticed that the Audi DSG paddle shifters were definitely lacking in this department. The smaller shifter made it hard to quickly bang through the gears on the street, mountain roads, and on the track. While keeping your hands on the steering wheel in the appropriate position, you would have to take your hand off the wheel in a turn to reach for the small OEM paddle. What Agency Power has developed is a complete replacement paddle for the Audi DSG paddle shifter transmission.

These aluminum paddle shifters are CNC machined 6061 aluminum that is precision engineered to fit on to the stock electronic switch module. Each paddle curves in the shape of the steering wheel and is beveled to provide an easy grip and quick shift no matter where you press on it. The shifters are approximately 6 inches in length compared to the stock one which is almost 3 inches. Each paddle features a very clean engraved + and – sign which is then available painted in either blue, red, white, or silver. The paddles come in a flat satin black anodized finish. The installation of the paddle shifters is approximately 1 hour. Paddle shifters are sold as a pair, left and right, and include the Agency Power warranty. Paddles fit the following models: Audi A3, A4, A6, A8, and Q7 2005+

Silicone Porsche 997 Turbo Boost Hoses Tested

Agency Power just received our first sample of Porsche 997 Turbo silicone boost hoses that we will be testing on the Vivid Racing Project 997 Turbo. The silicone hoses replace all 4 hoses that go from the Y-Pipe to the intercoolers and from the intercoolers to the turbos. Each silicone hose features a CNC machined aluminum fitting which will fit secure into the intercooler ends and be clamped in placed. We expect to have these tested in a week and available for sale in about 4 weeks.

Agency Power Shows Off at the 2008 SEMA Show

The Agency Power brand was represented in 2 big booths at the 2008 SEMA show this year. First, our friend John from The IDAgency built this amazing widebody blue Scion TC that was in Scion’s booth. It features our Agency Power catback exhaust modified to be a center exit. John also repped Agency Power with some silicone radiator hoses on his car. Thanks for the sticker spot John! Next our friend Vince over at IForged wheels built this amazing Porsche 996TT conversion to a 997TT which is featured in the Mobil 1 booth. Vince installed the Agency Power silicone boost hoses and F-Hose on his car. He repped the Agency Power logo on his hood of the GT3RS green paint job. Agency Power Race Exhaust Tested for the Porsche 997 Turbo

There are many exhaust systems on the market for the Porsche 997 Turbo. Agency Power has some of the best exhausts for cars like the Subaru STI, BMW M3, Scion TC, and Mitsubishi EVO. The Porsche 996 Turbo and Carrera exhausts by Agency Power have been populer. But instead of doing a typical exhaust system, Agency Power wanted to build a Race Exhaust for those looking to gain maximum horsepower, save weight, and have a sound that screams speed.

This prototype exhaust features 304 stainless steel. It uses high flow 200 cell catalytic converters and dual inline muffers before the X pipe which exits out the rear of the car. Now that the testing has been complete, the next stage is to dress up the exhaust a bit. The goal is to have quad colored titanium tips exiting from the rear bumper. We are going to change up the muffler slightly to quiet down the exhaust alittle more. The entire system will be polished for a show finish. The exhaust weighs only about 17lbs. That is almost 40lbs lighter then the stock unit!

Agency Power 2008 Subaru WRX Exhaust on a 2.5L Impreza

Agency Power’s catback exhaust system for the 2008 Subaru WRX also fits on the 2.5L non turbo Impreza! Check out these photos sent in from a customer on his vehicle. The exhaust is available with either stainless steel or titanium tips and both include silencers.

Agency Power Will Debut EVO X Parts at 2008 SEMA Show

Agency Power will be part of the Vivid Racing EVO X which will be showcased in the Toyo Tires booth at the 2008 SEMA show. The EVO X will feature the Agency Power GT35R Turbo Kit, Rear Adjustable Control Arms, Short Ram Intake, Front Mount Intercooler, Short Shifter, Radiator Hoses, Blow Off Valve, Boost Hose, Top Intercooler Pipe, and a collection of other amazing parts. New EVO X Front Mount Intercooler Kit Released

Agency Power has just released their new OEM replacement intercooler upgrade kit for the 2008 and up Mitsubishi EVO X. The bar and plate intercooler core is designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency .The end tanks are aluminum and then precision welded to the thick racing cores. The ends of the intercoolers are designed to work with factory Evo X intercooler piping or Agency Power Intercooler piping supplied with the GT35R turbo kit. These have been tested and provide a 14 hp gain on a stock EVO X and are rated to 750 hp. The intercoolers retain the factory mounting positions and come in a polished finished.
