NOW AVAILABLE IN RED CARBON FIBER!!! GET YOUR ORDER IN QUICK BECAUSE PRODUCTION IS OFF AND RUNNING!

As one of the most popular upgrades for the Mitsubishi EVO X, the Agency Power top intercooler pipe is now available to make your engine bay that much better! Agency Power now offers our 3 inch top intercooler pipe kit in Carbon Fiber. Why carbon fiber? Simple… Not only is it functional, reducing heat transfer, it also dresses up the engine bay quite a bit. What makes our carbon fiber product different and better is our 1 piece tubular design. All our intercooler pipes are made using carbon fiber braided sleeve, which gives it extreme strength and a beautiful design. Not only do we do these in a standard gloss carbon fiber, we also offer these in a Matte Carbon finish, blue carbon weave, and red carbon weave. Each intercooler pipe kit includes necessary couplers and clamps for a direct installation. The top intercooler pipe was designed to work as a replacement for the OEM piping so this will fit OEM replacement larger intercoolers.

Because the 3 inch is a larger diameter then stock, the plastic radiator shroud will need to be trimmed on the underside to clear the piping. This kit is available with a diameter of 3 inches for improved air flow on higher horsepower cars. By installing this pipe kit, you will maintain boost pressure more efficiently, pick up throttle response, and gain horsepower. As tested on a Mustang AWD Dyno with our short ram intake kit, this setup made almost 30 all wheel horsepower. All Agency Power products come with a LIMITED LIFETIME warranty.

Just came across this StanceNation.com article featuring some Agency Power Parts and thought we would share. This is a sweet Evo!

Here is the original article link.

“You remember the EVO that was “coming soon” about a month ago? Well, it is finally here and damn do we love it! It looks a little bit different since the last time you saw it but it’s all for the better. What many of us outside of Canada may not know is that these Evo’s were never sold up there until the the X’s came out. Seeing how Carson (who owns this beast) really wanted one, he came down to the states, picked up this stock EVO, and imported it back up to Canada. It didn’t stay stock for long as you’ve probably imagined. Before you know it, he was daily-ing a proper track car that was pushing431WHP! It didn’t quite satisfy him all the way, so he spiced it up with some proper shoes and aero.

Photos By: Edwin Tan exclusively for StanceNation.com

We always like to point out how we feel that less is sometimes more, and this EVO would be a perfect example. Up front you’ll only notice a Rexpeed CF front lip, that’s all. On the side Carson added APR CF mirrors which look incredible! Out in the back a small but efficient Rexpeed CF rear spoiler was added which is a huge improvement over the big stock ones. Now that is just our personal opinion, so no need to get all worked up over it. The thing we probably like the most about this EVO is that whole rear end. JDM Evo 9 rear bumper & JDM EVO 8 tail lights really set this car off just right, you agree?

We understand that some of you may feel the 37′s are played out, but the fact is majority of the 37′s that you think you saw are reproductions. The real TE37′s and now “37SL’s” are wheels that will never be “played out” to the mass. The “stance” scene, maybe, but in general, never. With that said, Carson went with Volk TE37SL’s in 18×10.5 all around with +17 offset up front and +22 offset rear. They are wrapped in KUMHO Ecsta SPT 245/35/18 tires and the car is dropped on BC Racing BR coils. He also added a set of Agency Power Rear camber arms which put him at -3.7 front and -4 rear. Lastly, he is sporting project mu B-force F/R Brake Pads which work great, especially when used and abused at the track!”

……………..A little more about the Agency Power Rear Adjustable Control Arms:

“The ultimate suspension product for your Mitsubishi EVO is now available. For all EVO VII, VIII, IX cars, Agency Power has released these highly functional, tested, and engineered to the limits, full adjustable control arms. These control arms are designed for the ultimate EVO owner. For road racing, drag racing, auto crossers, and street drivers, these control arms give you the advantage you want.

The solid 6061 aluminum is machined to spec to fit 2 urethane bushings with steel sleeves. Each urethane bushing is the same ones we use in our motor mounts with a hardness level of 88. Improving rigidity and handling and the vehicles dynamics, These control arms will allow you to setup extra camber and toe settings in the rear. The stock adjustments only allow for minimal changes, the AP arms give you a much more aggressive setup. The full race spherical rod ends fit into a steel extension offering 2 ways of adjustability. Either side includes a jam nut for secure locking and safety. The rod ends have precision machined spacers for a secure fit into the vehicle.

The adjustable control arms weigh almost 1lb lighter then the factory. Unsprung weight is what any racer needs to reduce. The control arms are sold as a pair and fit any 2003 and up EVO vehicle. Combine this with the Agency Power rear sway bar and sway bar links and you have one seriously good handling EVO!

All Agency Power products come with a LIMITED LIFETIME warranty”

Why is this Agency Power Fuel Rail better then stock? The AP fuel rail has the largest bore currently on the market which results in better fuel flow then stock. As well, the AP rail is designed to fit larger injectors, when upgrading to a larger turbo set up or needing to upgrade your fuel system, the AP rail will accommodate your needs. While keeping stock fitment and performance when additional fuel is not needed, the fuel rail is also a great dress up piece.

All Agency Power products come with a limited lifetime warranty.

“Well, we’ve been selling Evo X products for a while now (we actually make several of own in house) and previously had to rely on our local MN Evo X owners for any product development or testing. As our plans for the platform have expanded significantly we decided to bite the bullet and pick one up for ourselves.

I found this beauty at a dealership in Madison, WI (about 250 miles from our shop) and simply couldn’t ignore the fact that the previous owner only managed to put 13,9XX miles on it in over two years! The body is pristine and the only flaw I could really find was some curb rash, but the stock wheels will be coming off soon anyways

We’ve got big plans for this project, which is also my daily driver, but I can’t spill the beans just yet. This blog will document the entire build process including installation guides, tech articles, and dyno results. Below is what we’re working with as a baseline on 91 octane, it’s hard to tell but this thing is super rich, a tune alone should yield substantial gains. Your comments and/or suggestions for the project would be greatly appreciated”

It’s definitely one of the first mods I think about when buying a new car. After all, a cars exhaust note is essentially it’s voice to the world…and who doesn’t want to be heard when it’s actually time to “speak up“?

Below are some of the first photos to surface of our NEW Sport Exhaust System installed on a 2007 Porsche 997TT.

The key to designing a high quality and fully functional system is in the balance between sound and performance. Turbo chargers perform best with virtually zero restriction off of the exhaust outlet, but that’s a recipe for noise that would be unbearable for a street prepared vehicle. Our job is to find the right combination of performance enhancing low restriction exhaust flow, while creating a “voice” that you enjoy hearing, all while preventing side effects such as the unpleasant drone at cruising speeds.

For more information on this system, including more photos, video, and dynamometer results, visit the product page here.

And now that I think about it, I haven’t heard back from any MTV exec’s yet. Maybe this rhyming thing isn’t really working for me…

Anyways, in case you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a big fan of the DIY. There’s nothing more exciting than a box full of brand new Agency Power parts, and it doesn’t get any more gratifying than knowing it was your hard work that’s making all the difference.

I think this guy knows what I’m talking about.
A mod list sprinkled with Agency Power parts will always get attention in my book.

With lower intake temperatures improving boost efficiency, and striking good looks tucked behind the OEM front bumper, you’re running “cooler” no matter how you look at it.
See how I tied that all together?!?!
Ok, I’m done now.

We all know that the majority of OEM intercoolers are most efficient at stock horsepower levels and under what the manufacturer would consider “normal” driving conditions. Our goal is to provide an upgrade that will improve efficiency and performance as you increase the horsepower of your vehicle and expose it to spirited driving, on-road and at the track.

What you may not have known, all Agency Power intercoolers are application specific, with significant on-road and dynamometer testing to ensure optimum performance for each vehicle model. The selection of the core is important in two aspects: One is to select a dimension that will allow for maximum surface area and cooling via ambient airflow to the intercooler. The second is to optimize the internal flow area to ensure minimal loss in boost pressure while still allowing for the desired CFM. After the engineering and testing ensures the proper core sizing, it’s on to the design of end tanks, and fabrication and selection of all necessary bracketry, piping and silicone.

Each intercooler kit includes the necessary silicone hoses, hardware, brackets, and is designed to be a simple bolt on installation. Contact your local dealer or wholesale rep to be one of the first to receive this new Intercooler Kit for the BMW 135i and 335i.
